Brazilian Sensation
is a family-owned business started in 1998 by John Falconer and his Brazilian wife Lucia. Today our business has grown to include an award-winning Brazilian restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland, an on-line store specialising in fine Brazilian açaí products, and a commercial service for the import/export of high-quality tropical fruit from Brazil (see link below).
Our Edinburgh restaurant serves authentic Brazilian cuisine in a fun & relaxing atmosphere for a unique dining experience. We have twice been nominated in The List magazine's Hit List as one of Edinburgh's best "Round the World" dining establishments. A selection of delicatessen products is available for sale at the premises, including chouriço, manioc flour, harina pan, palm oil, guava paste, Guaraná Antarctica, exotic fruit pulps, and homemade tropical fruit jams & ice cream.
Through our unique, personal connection with Brazil we have built strong partnerships with local producers of açaí and other tropical fruits. We travel regularly to Brazil to ensure that the products we provide are of the very best quality and consistency.
